Marine cargo rarely follows a standard logistics pattern. The consignee, end use, vessel schedule, customs regime and final delivery point must be reviewed together before the shipment arrives. Valen coordinates these variables as one operation so that documentation, customs entry and final delivery remain aligned.
Our approach begins with a pre-arrival file check. Commercial invoice details, HS classification, cargo description, origin, transport document and vessel information are reviewed against the planned customs route. Potential gaps are identified early, before they become storage, delay or demurrage costs.
Once cargo arrives, the customs stage is followed through registration, control, examination, payment and release. The operation team keeps the ship manager, supplier and delivery party informed with concise status updates and a clear next action.
